i believe the healthiest fast food restaurant is subway.
in and out , everything else garbage in and out is garbage too but it has the healthiest food. subway is actually the best then its in and out.
Subway EAT FRESH!!
my guess that the healthiest fast food restaruant would be El Pollo Loco because the chicken is grilled not fried and the best meal there would be the skinless breast meal because it comes with veggeis and salad with a salsa dressing which is better than fat filled dressings.
I like Wendy’s because you can get chili with a baked potato sans the cheese on top. That is pretty healthy for you.
Polo Tropical and Chicken Kitchen in Miami are rated the healthiest…..just to bad they only local and nationwide!!
pretty much every fast food place has a ’salad’ option now. McDonald’s salads (especially the bacon ranch) aren’t much better than a super sized burger. wendy’s does salads, baked potato.. KFC does cole slaw and the chicken (grilled) isn’t that bad, in a wrap. Subway though. they’re really good.
eat nothing fried has butter on it and taste good hope that helps
Chik-f-let is fairly healthy. Just watch out for anything fried, or covered in cheese or sauce. And if you have to have fries, have a small one. I order from the kid’s menu, lol.
Wendy’s has other side choices like fruit, salad, or baked potato.
Boston Market is fairly healthy as well.
fast food and healthy don’t coexist. There is no such thing. There is only: which one has a few less clogging calories and which one may have less hormones.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a Burger King Whopper very much, but I am also not delusional about believing that there is such a thing as the most healthy fast food restaurant.
Also, just because something has less fat, doesn’t mean it’s more healthy. There are plenty of foods that have natural fats. The unhealthy parts in fast foods are the breads that they use, with the high fructose corn syrup, the partially hydroginated oils ( instead of pure vegetable oil) , the hormone enriched poor quality meat… it’s not all just about the extra cheese on that baked potato.
Almost all fast food places have some healthy choices. Obviously salad is better than a burger. Choose grilled chicken as opposed to breaded and skip the bun altogether. Wendy’s Chili is actually pretty low in fat and high in protein. Anything fried should be avoided. Y’know it’s no different than making healthy choices in the grocery store.
Sorry… but there is no true healthy fast food…. if you really want to eat healthy you should make what you are going to eat in the morning… so in other words make a lunch for yourself…stick with your fruits and veggies… but get some protien in there too…if your want to be healthy you should stop going to fast food places all together…
All fast food restaurants can be healthy. It just depends on what food you eat while you are there. You can get salads instead of fries, water or milk instead of soda, baked or broiled chicken instead of burgers. I think that it has been televised that Subway is the healthiest fast food restaurant. Even there you have choices though. There you can still get pizza, chips, soda, high calorie bread, foot long or you could get a 6 inch baked chicken breast on wheat with water and apple slices. There was a study recently on a man that ate at McDonald’s every meal for a month and lost a lot of weight here recently ( don’t know exactly how long or how much). It was his choices that made him loose the weight though. It all just depends on what you choose to eat.
There was a recent article about this where Chick Fil A actually ranked higher than subway as long as you stayed away from the greasy foods.
WEll I would have to say NO FAST FOOD. Cut it all out!!! I dont really think SUBWAY is fast food cause its just sandwiches and that’s not really fast food. So I would try to stick to that if your trying to eat out cheap and healthy!
Noodles Company
noodles.com
Why does this Colorado-based chain top our quick-serve list? Noodles Company combines 19 fresh vegetables with seven types of pastas in Asian, Mediterranean, or American entrees (think Indonesian Peanut Sauté or Wisconsin Mac Cheese).
-
Chipotle Mexican Grill
chipotle.com
The idea is simple: Build your own gourmet burrito, fajita burrito, taco, or burrito bowl. The flavor and the healthiness are in the details—naturally raised, antibiotic-free meats, organic beans, and even hormone-free sour cream. Corn tortillas give you a whole-grain option, and the tortilla-less Burrito Bowl lets you ramp up the proteins and veggies.
-
Cosi
getcosi.com
Any chain that calls small appetizers “Shareables” has the healthy idea down. Cosi’s central theme—the hearth—yields tasty hearth-baked entrees (in the locations where they serve dinner), from Alpine Chicken to Grilled Wild Alaskan Salmon. High marks for baby carrots as a substitute for chips to go along with sandwiches.
-
Panera
panerabread.com
The bread is fresh and tempting (and you can go whole-grain). But look to Panera’s soups for great low-calorie and low-sodium options. Fresh fruit cups and apples make for healthy sides, and we give the restaurant special kudos for offering kids’ meals that come with organic cheese and all-natural peanut butter.
-
Au Bon Pain
aubonpain.com
This chain boasts hormone-and antibiotic-free chicken. Plus, it provides a great nonfood nutritional tool: computerized kiosks available in most locations allow you to plan your meal and even sort the menu by your goal—whether it be high fiber and protein; or low carb, fat, cholesterol, sodium, or calories.
Good luck!
subway. lol.
in and out , everything is else garbage
The Gentlemen’s Club. Get the wings.
Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken sandwich with a side salad fat free honey mustard dressing and a Coke Zero. Nothing better.
Chik-fil-a (stay away from fried food or anything with cheese) and subway (again stay away from cheese and mayo)
