What are some healthy fast food options for lunch?
ruggala asked:
I try to always bring my lunch to work but when I don’t I’m not sure what are healthy options to eat from fast food resturants. By my work is all your usual fast food places. What are some of the things on the menus I could eat that would be semi healthy?

tough luck finding something healthy.
but a salad would suffice.
i always go for fresh sandwhiches with light mayo. lots of fast food places now offer them. and get a salad as a side and drink water no carbonated things
goto subway.. they have different sandwiches that are low carb and low calorie..
I like Wendy’s salads and Subway’s low fat sandwiches.
Whataburger now has a grilled chicken sandwich on a whole wheat bun. It may not be the healthiest option out there, but it is definitely better than the routine burger and fries. Taco Bell has also come out with a new menu called Fresco that offers lower calorie tacos and low fat food options
Quizno’s has sandwiches that are 200 calories. They are called Sammies. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grilled chicken breast with a salad.
Soup and baked potato at Wendys.
Salad, fruit, yogurt, plain baked potato, unsweetened tea, grilled chicken no bread, grilled burger patty no bread or cheese. Good luck
What about a tub of salad. Chicken fillet on a salad sandwich on brown is also another alternative. But hold the mayo. can you throw some fresh fruit in your bag, or have some on your desk for when you feel like a snack. Apples are great for that. If you must eat fast food, go the Subway, but once again hold the mayo.
Go to a sandwich shop, and order a grilled chicken on whole wheat, tomatoes, lettuce, and mustard. Diet soda or seltzer.
try a salad with a vinegarette, but stay away from fried stuff (like chicken tenders) on top of it. grilled is good. or you could go to subway a get a pretty healthy sub.

Many grocery stores have deli counters with healthy low fat or vegatable based choices. Most of the time you can get in and out of the store as quick as you can drive thru the Burger-Doodle. If all else fails follow Gerad’s lead and get the Veggie Sub at Subway.
salad, and protien always a good choice
subway! any fresh sandwich place…just choose the healthier sides and menu options..
Burger King: Garden Burger with No Mayo, with a small side of Fries
Mc Donalds: 1 dollar chicken sandwich and a WalnutFruit Salad or 1 dollar chicken sandwich and a Fruit Parfait..
Jack in the Box: Asian Salad and a small size of Fries
At subway they have the Fresh Fit meal which is a really good choice if you’re watching your food intake. They give you a small cup of a lowfat soup, 1/2 of a sandwhich or wrap ( turkey is very low fat) and a diet coke or water. It’s a good deal and very healthy!
Salad
Grilled CHicken
Bake potato
Broiled/grill fish

Get something grilled. It’s better for you.
Subway is a healthy fast food restaurant. It is a great idea to go to Subway for lunch.
